Self-Investments

I believe that the most skillful and impactful coaches, therapists, and leaders are those who have invested in themselves. To that end, these are some of the investments I’ve made in my education, certification, and evolution over the years. Each of them uniquely informs how I engage with you.

Preparation & Integration

I offer trauma-informed support for clients interested in or engaging with psychedelic therapy or plant medicine.

The facets of preparation aim to support a safe and meaningful experience. We’ll define your intentions – what you’re looking to heal, learn about, and explore. We’ll reflect on your spiritual beliefs and how the experience may relate to them. We’ll also dive into the potential effects of the compounds you’ll be working with to deepen your understanding of the nature of non-ordinary states of consciousness.

Integration is the process of taking reflections from your experience & distilling them, turning the individual elements of your journey into a cohesive whole. Integration is an unfolding – a continuous unraveling of insights. This process takes time. We’ll put practices in place that turn your learnings into new habits & behaviors, leading to sustained growth & a new way of being. A recently published piece sharing my perspective on integration.

INSPIRATION & INTENTION

The inspiration for the name of my practice, The Overview, comes from The Overview Effect – the term for the cognitive shift reported by astronauts while viewing the earth for the first time from space. Researchers have characterized it as, “a state of awe with self-transcendent qualities.” Deeply transformative, it changes an astronaut’s view of themselves and the world.

As a coach, I provide a container where we create cognitive and somatic shifts – an overview effect of your very own.

There are no borders or boundaries on our planet except those that we create in our minds or through human behaviors. All the ideas and concepts that divide us when we are on the surface begin to fade from orbit and the moon. The result is a shift in worldview, and in identity… So, do you want to change the world? It begins with how you see the world. It begins with your worldview. - Frank White
